Pristine Waters

This afternoon, we had decided to do some sunset photography at Passo Giau in the Dolomites of Italy. Our mentor Federico Antonello had suggested this 2236 meters high spot because this was near and less elevation than the main pass. We hiked there, using our tripods as walking sticks where we found this small and very pristine lake. One of our most accommodating friends, Priyanka Chauhan, volunteered herself as a model as well as a human scale for this image, helping me to capture a quite iconic and striking scene. The light was compromised so we had to work quite hard to bring in the sense of light to the image.
